Fire!

The only nice thing about wintertime and cold weather is that the staff will finally use the fireplace as it should be used. The fire is fun to watch, and the top of the fireplace will be warmed up nicely for me.

Ok, I agree, this post was quite boring. I think I'm starting to lack ideas to post! There's nothing exciting happening here! Help! Ask me something, anything!

  2. Thank you for the compliment! The thruth is though, that I don't really know... It must be the food... The lady of the house tries to give me fish quite often (tuna or sardines), and then I get raw meat sometimes. I don't usually eat the dry cat cereal that often, I mainly eat the real stuff.

  4. Unfortunately, this fire place is not for cooking food, but we do have a grill on the terrace. Though, right now you only get your butt freezed off if you try to grill something out there... The snow disappeared!! I don't know where it went, the staff says it melted. The staff says we can get up to a half meter of snow, but mostly less. Staff has been ice fishing, but they didn't catch anything... amateurs... I'm sure I would catch plenty, I'm practicing with the aquarium you know!

  5. Be careful with that fire especially when you put it out. Don't leave the embers in the hall or around the house. Fire scares me.

    1. Yes, the big one is our fireplace responsible, and he knows his stuff. We don't take the embers out that often, so it really is out of fire by then. We just need to keep the flue open long enough after a fire to avoid the carbon monoxide....

  7. We would think you need a cat tree or big box or something so you can get a little closer to that fire. You won't get much to watch where you have to sleep.

  8. That's a good idea. I need to pass that to my staff.
